1. Identity of the Data Controller

As KYO Legal Law Office (“KYO Legal or “Office“), we show utmost sensitivity regarding the security and confidentiality of your personal data. With this awareness, we present the following issues to your information within the scope of the obligation to inform in order to ensure that we can act in accordance with the Law regarding the personal data we obtain as a data controller in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“Law“).

  1. For Which Purposes Your Personal Data May Be Processed

Personal data shall be processed in connection with the execution of our activities and our commercial relations for the following purposes and in connection with these purposes, in a limited and measured manner:

Your personal data may be transferred to official institutions, third parties from whom KYO Legal receives or provides services, for the purposes described in Article 2 of this Clarification Text, depending on and limited to the reason requiring its transfer; within the scope of the Law and related regulations.

Your personal data may be processed for the aforementioned purposes, in accordance with the basic principles stipulated in the Law and provided that it complies with the principles set forth in Article 4 of the Law. For the purposes set out above, in accordance with the principles set out in Article 4 of the Law and provided that it complies with the principles set out in Article 4 of the Law, in cases where (i) it is expressly stipulated in the legislation, or the processing of our data is mandatory for (ii) the fulfillment of KYO Legal’s legal obligations, (iii) the establishment of a contract between you and us or the performance of an existing contract, (iv) for the establishment of a right, or (v) for the legitimate interest of KYO Legal, provided that it shall not harm your fundamental rights and obligations, based on and limited to the specified legal reasons; It can be collected from the information transmitted by you personally verbally or in writing or through closed circuit camera and voice recording systems in KYO Legal, by automatic or non-automatic methods.

  1. Processed Personal Data

The personal data we process include the identity data of the relevant natural person such as T.R. identification number, name, surname, place and date of birth, marital status, gender, identity document sample, photograph, contact information such as address, telephone, e-mail, fax, professional information such as the organization, job title and duty, information about the sector in which he / she works, financial data such as bank account information, invoice details, audio and visual records, and professional experience, personal and health data, including the resume, valid for employees and employee candidates.

  1. How Do We Protect Your Personal Data?

KYO Legal takes all necessary technical and administrative measures in accordance with the legislation on the protection of personal data in order to prevent access to your personal data by unauthorized persons, incorrect processing of your personal data, disclosure, change/deletion for unlawful reasons, and to ensure its protection and security.

In the event that your personal data is damaged and/or captured/disclosed by third parties as a result of attacks on our Office servers and/or other systems, our Office shall immediately inform you and the Personal Data Protection Board.

Personal data obtained within the scope of our processing purposes are processed and stored within the scope of our processing purposes and applicable laws.

Your personal data will be deleted, destroyed or anonymized (i) in the event that our processing purposes are completely terminated, (ii) at the end of the period stipulated in the Law or upon your request.

  1. Your Rights Regarding the Protection of Personal Data

Within the scope of the Law; you have the right in order to (i) learn whether your personal data has been processed or not, (ii) if your personal data has been processed, to request information, to learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose, (iii) to know the third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred domestically or abroad, to request correction of your personal data in case of incomplete or incorrect processing, (iv) to request the deletion or destruction of your personal data, (v) in the event that your personal data is incomplete or incorrectly processed, you have the right to request that third parties to whom personal data is transferred be notified of the correction and/or deletion or destruction of personal data, (vi) in the event that your processed data is processed exclusively by means of automated systems, you have the right to object in the event of an unfavorable result, (vii) in case of damage due to unlawful processing of your personal data, you have the right to demand compensation for the damage.

  1. Submitting Your Requests within the Scope of Protection of Personal Data

Within the scope of the Law, you can obtain the Information Acquisition and Request Form from the personal data protection representative via the e-mail address of info@kyolegal.com in order to exercise your rights listed in Article 11 of the Law.

In accordance with Article 13 of the Law, our Office shall finalize the application requests according to the nature of the request and within thirty (30) days at the latest. If the transaction requires any cost, the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board shall be applied. If the request is rejected, the reason and/or reasons for rejection shall be justified in writing or electronically.
